Paper Quilled Wedding Invitation

Hello my lovely readers
Welcome back after the festive week. Last week was so busy with all the preparations for Rakshabandhan and celebratory mood that it took me a while to post a new blogpost.

I have done few wedding invites in quilling and this one was for my college friend.
I received a customized order for a handmade wedding card from Preksha. She wanted me to design a card with quilling to be given to Ankur's family. So, I made a quick card with the details requested by her.
Here's how the card looked at final step.

Since she knew how lazy I am at such works even though I enjoy doing it, she gave me a long time to plan and I still conceptualized it till I reached the deadline.😁

So, the quick thing was to find a template for the card. I really like the printables available online. So I found this really interesting RSVP template Artisan Botanical , fully customisable and free to download and edit. They have explained in detail about how to print and edit the invite. I worked around a bit on the template and created it according to my requirement.

The template had 3 layers and were beautifully designed. They left me with not much work in terms of designing.
I was given this Prose by her to be included in the card.

The last layer had the invite details.

There wasn't much of quilling besides my all time favourite fringed flowers and green punched leaves. I added few floral sequins to the digital print flowers to highlight them.

I used an off white card base to match the rustic color palette. The paper doiley acted as a second flap from bottom.

The final jute string helped tie up the invite and ready to be sent.

Hope you liked this delicate floral Wedding Invite.
