Hello everyone, I hope the lockdown is going good for all of you, and I wish this post will find some joy in your lives too. I am back again with another post after some lazy days. After the Panda post I literally went on my eat, sleep, repeat schedule. Back from those panda days is another post of Quillography. Hello my lovely readers, Welcome to my blog once again with another lockdown project. Baby Panda Well this one is still not finished to my satisfaction, but i wanted to put it up anyway because the completion will take a long time. It's lock down and am falling short in my quilling supplies! I never thought a day will come when I will have to think about quilling strips not sufficient enough. Honestly I have a huge collection, but it seems I never bought white and black color in abundance. So I started with Panda without realizing the fact I need to stop it halfway. I am not good with coloring and hence please ignore the bad texture it gives from my coloring pencils. tried to use my aqua pencils and shade with the paint brush but yet it remained the same. Hello and welcome back with my second post of my previous project. The dream-catcher is finally done and I love the way it turned up. Here is the link to my first part of this project. Dream-catcher  I was not hoping to use strips for the strings of dreamcatcher but turned out I ended up with one. While I was working on the inside strings, I thought of giving it a try since I had a lot of time now. Owing to the lockdown days I was gradually able to finish up the project with strips only. It was a tedious work since using the cut strips was a level up for me. I used my roses from the flower collection this time. They seemed pretty well to go with the color theme. Hello to all the lovely readers. Its my second project in Lockdown days and it really turned out out well for me. A hopeful dream to come true soon that let me take to another adventure soon. Eagerly waiting for the situation worldwide to be better soon so we can all live normal lives. I have somehow started liking my routine in the past few days though. They are better than normal and I am able to do things I want to do. I do miss a lot of things outdoor and would really wish to have them back on track. Till then, this is what kept me company. Origami Photo Album I found this really cool tutorial about this accordion photo album online on Red Ted Art and thought to try my hands on the project. During quarantine days you may want to try this with your kids or maybe yourself to gift to your loved ones. I made 3 albums for my best friends. A warm hello to all my lovely readers. It’s a pleasure to have you here for my next post. Today's post is about my favorite  technique in quilling known as  Fringing!  It’s a simple technique without requiring much of tools. I t is easy and inexpensive since it can be made from just one strip. There are tools available for making fringes. They are called quilling paper fringers. I do not have a fringer so I fringe the paper by hand with a pair of scissors. Once you get used to fringing with hand you will not require any tool for the purpose.  In my free time I fringe strips of various colors and roll them as and when needed for projects. It does take a long time initially but with practice you can get to do 2 strips in one go. Try cutting your own width of strip to practice making flowers.
