Get Well Soon Quilling Vase Card

A warm hello to all my lovely readers.

Today my post is about a card I designed for a dear friend's Dad. Uncle is not well and has just returned back from hospital after his angioplasty surgery.


Flower Vase Card

This card is for his speedy recovery and wishing him good health. Many loving, caring thoughts are with you on your road to recovery.

Hearts Envelope


There could be nothing better and cheerful than the heart shaped petals to show our love for him. This bright colored card may help him forget all the dull days he had during his stay in hospital.

Get Well  Soon card 


This card is my way of telling him that these paper flowers are here to stay and bloom forever and I wish to see you in the same spirit.




About the quilling now

1. This card has red heart shaped petals and a bunch of six such petals have been used to make one flower. I have made a total of 18 such same size petals using 3mm strips and glued together to make three flowers. Add tight coils made from blue 3mm strips on top of each flower center.

2. For the leaves I have used green strip in 3 mm and made petal shape.

3. Added some double scrolls made from green strips 3mm.

4. For the vase, take 3 brown strip in 3mm. make a petal shape for the center one and two crescent shapes for the sides. Combine them and glue together to form a vase.

5. For the base I have used comb quilling technique using blue strips 3mm.

6. I have used the free printable template for the envelope available on Greeting Island.

7. The base card is a lemon cardstock and size of the final card is A5 and has 10mm corner rounded using my favourite punch from Kamei. It's a 3 in 1 corner rounder punch I bought from Nagpal Stationers Delhi.

Dream Catcher Part 2

Hello and welcome back with my second post of my previous project. The dream-catcher is finally done and I love the way it turned up. Here is the link to my first part of this project. Dream-catcher  I was not hoping to use strips for the strings of dreamcatcher but turned out I ended up with one. While I was working on the inside strings, I thought of giving it a try since I had a lot of time now. Owing to the lockdown days I was gradually able to finish up the project with strips only. Quilling- Hot air balloon

Hello to all the lovely readers. Its my second project in Lockdown days and it really turned out out well for me. A hopeful dream to come true soon that let me take to another adventure soon. Eagerly waiting for the situation worldwide to be better soon so we can all live normal lives. I have somehow started liking my routine in the past few days though. They are better than normal and I am able to do things I want to do. I do miss a lot of things outdoor and would really wish to have them back on track. Till then, this is what kept me company. A hot air balloon paper quilled with a Dream for another adventure. Dreamy Adventure Have used a normal black pen to make the outline of balloon and used my aqua pencil colours to color the rainbow. Quilling Fridge Magnets

Hello and welcome back to my blog guys. This lockdown is simply making me share my new as well as older projects and connect with you all. Fridge Magnets with note holder clip I made these magnets last year for my Diwali exhibition. How I tested my magnet for display!😅 I was not planning for these to be a part of my diwali collection but then I found these stash of my tight coils I make in my free time. Yes I made tight coils and fringed flowers in my leisure time! So the flowers were an easy task and I just needed a base. Old collection of my tight coils Made these magnets base with my jute rope collection. And I loved the raw look they gave to my magnets. The tight coils I had were just pinched to make a teardrop shape and made a 5 petal flower for the magnets. I used the stick on pearls for the center of flowers and added just two tight coils of green color pinched in leaf shape. Hot glue gun came to the rescue for sticking the flower patch onto the jute
