Dream Catcher Part 2

Hello and welcome back with my second post of my previous project. The dream-catcher is finally done and I love the way it turned up. Here is the link to my first part of this project.

Dream-catcher

I was not hoping to use strips for the strings of dreamcatcher but turned out I ended up with one.
While I was working on the inside strings, I thought of giving it a try since I had a lot of time now.

Owing to the lockdown days I was gradually able to finish up the project with strips only.
It was a tedious work since using the cut strips was a level up for me.

I used my roses from the flower collection this time. They seemed pretty well to go with the color theme. This may not be a perfect work but it came out better than I imagined when I started.

Roses View

This took a long time than I expected but it was worth every moment. Working with 3mm quilling strips for entire project and making roses with 10mm strips.
I refer to the tutorial for making roses on honey's quilling blog. They have a detailed step by step procedure represented in pictures to help you learn it.

The strings of Dreams

As you can see I have turned my actual colored picture a bit more to easy to work with the feathers since it was difficult to achieve all those twists.

The Moonlight Dream

Stay tuned for more of my works coming up soon.
Till then, stay safe and stay at home 💗
